The total replacement alternating mattress is designed to prevent and/or treat pressure ulcers for patients at a medium to high risk of pressure injury. The size of this mattress is single.

The replacement mattress features 18 individual alternating transverse cells (plus 3 static head cells) that provide gentle and dynamic support and comfort while maintaining and stimulating lymphatic fluids, maximise blood flow across all areas of the body and to minimise skin shear an friction.

The replacement mattress is well suited to the heavier patient and with the increased cell depth of 21.5 cm offers patients increased comfort while helping to prevent inadequate support or ‘bottoming out'. Suitable for patients at a medium to high risk of pressure injury.

The digital control unit outputs up to eight litres of air per minute while remaining peacefully quiet. The initial mattress inflation time is between 30-40 minutes. The pressure levels are fully adjustable to match the users weight and comfort needs.
